Come explore some less-visited sections of Ward Reservation with FONAT.  Starting from the Boston Hill trail head at Brightview, we'll be visiting Rubbish Meadow, site of an active heron rookery, and Mars Swamp. The hike will last about 2 hours and promises fall foliage and marsh views.

Our meeting place will be the Brightview retirement community parking lot on Route 114.  (The trailhead and parking is on the far end of the Brightview parking lot.)

Our hikes are family-friendly, and leashed dogs are also welcome to join in. Check back here for any updates due to weather.
